POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS

Seeking highly motivated individuals to study developmental and reproductive vascular biology. Current research areas include the role of the nuclear hormone receptor PPARgamma in placental vascular development, trophoblast differentiation and neonatal survival. Emphases are conditional gene inactivation, chimeric and mosaic embryos, transcriptional profiling, and other genetic and pharmacologic approaches in neonatal and adult mice and cultured murine embryonic and trophoblast stem cells.

A strong background in developmental, cell and/or molecular biology and a strong interest in vascular biology are required. Experience with genetically engineered mice is desirable. The laboratory offers a dynamic and rewarding research environment with additional collaborative opportunities in cell biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, pathology and medicine.
