Our research is directed toward understanding mechanisms regulating vascular and cardiovascular development. The ultimate goal is suggesting new preventive and therapeutic approaches and improvements in existing approaches for human diseases with important vascular and cardiovascular etiologies. Such diseases affect individuals of almost every age from early embryogenesis in utero to the latest stages of adult life.
